Disable IE’s Automatic Crash Recovery

The Automatic Crash Recovery (ACR) feature of Internet Explorer 8 helps prevent the loss of work in the unlikely event of browser failure. ACR takes advantage of the Loosely Coupled Internet Explorer (LCIE) feature to provide new crash recovery capabilities including tab recovery that minimize interruptions to a browsing session. But you can turn off the feature ,if you are more concern about privacy.

Steps To Follow

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Open Tools>Internet Options
  • Select the Advanced tab in the Internet Properties window.
